Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born in middle class family of Brahmin on 25 December, 1924 in Gwalior. He was India’s First and best prime minister who was regarded as non controversial heart throb of country. He was considered the leader of Hindu Nationalism and served as Member of Parliament for fifty years. In his two year in government and in spite of his Hindu Nationalism, he worked to improve relationship between Pakistan and China, by travelling both country. He was ahead of times, because he had a deep sense of history and could peer into soul of India. Yet his government made historic progress in establishment of normal relation with other countries. He was political leader and poet. Many steps were taken by Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the skill development of India. He made fast tracking Bharat by launching roads projects and this was achievement to Vajpayee. His new policy unleashed the telecom revolution in India by replacing fixed license fees for telecom firms. He never took his political time with working for his party whether he worked after the overall development of country in economy for equal love seared for intra- curricular things. Serve Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme was to provide universal access to free elementary education for empowering students for learning and development of their creative mind.  Atal Jis conviction that these civilizations which are rising powers can work together to shape to global future continues to guide our thinking for making future ready for challenges. Today, we are self- assured nation, brimming with the energy of our youth and resolve of our people, eager for change and confident of achieving striving for clean and responsive governance, building future of opportunity for Indians. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was awarded with many awards and was first Prime Minister to be awarded with Padma Vibhusham in 1992. Other awards such as Lokmanya Tilak award in 1994, Best Parliamentarian awared, Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Vallabh pant award in 1994 and Bharat Ratna in 2015.Good Governance Day is observed in India annually on twenty-fifth day of December, the birth anniversary of former-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee .Good Governance Day was established in 2014 to honor Prime Minister Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the Indian people of accountability in government. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died in New Delhi on 16 august, 2018. He was ninety three years old.
