Everything in the world we use comes from ocean in some way. The air we breathe the water we drink even the products we use day to day would not be 
possible without the ocean. That is why issue of ocean pollution is so important and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. According to marine oceanography website there are over 46000 pieces of plastic floating mile of ocean of the northeast coast of United States which contributes to the death of 100000 marine mammals and 2 millions see birds. The pressure of sound omitted by ships, sonar devices can disrupt communication, migration. Due to overall development many harmful pollutants from the factories and industries are thrown to river and it effects the holistic development. National academy of sciences estimated that 14 billion pounds of garbage is being dumped every year. 90 percent of plastic in ocean comes from 10 rivers that are more than 1.5 million per hour. The most polluted ocean is North Pacific Ocean that holds 1.3 billion of garbage. More 8 million ton of plastic ends up in ocean every year. The countries that pollute ocean the most are US and Australia. By 2050 there could be more plastic in ocean than fish for this quality education regarding avoid to plastic. Future is ready to have problem with plastic. Best school in Kullu try to aware everyone regarding unhealthy rivers means unhealthy oceans. Ocean generates half of oxygen we breathe and they contain more than 97 percent of world’s water. Living oceans absorb carbon dioxide from atmosphere and reduce climate change. So we should not pollute oceans. Waste management needs to be improved with creative minds.
